Classes VI — X · Ages 11–16 · CBSE Board Examination at Class X
The years when habit is laid down. We teach how to revise, not how to cram.
Disciplinary writing in every subject.
The middle and secondary years are the intellectually formative ones. The lab report, the essay, the mathematical proof, the historical argument — disciplinary writing is taught explicitly in every subject from Class VI, with model paragraphs, structured drafts, and detailed written feedback. We do not assign writing without first teaching how to do it.
From Class VI, every science subject has at least one fortnightly lab period. Students conduct the experiments themselves, record their own data, and write their own reports. A result that does not match the theory is not a failure — it is data, and the discussion of why is the most valuable part of the lesson.
Mathematics has a weekly problem-solving session that goes beyond the NCERT textbook. Assamese is offered from Class VI; Computer Science and AI Foundations runs as a timetabled subject from Class VII — assessed like any other, not treated as an after-school extra.
The Class X year is structured into four terms, with mock board examinations held on the exact CBSE pattern in October and December. Saturday remedial sessions are available for students whose performance indicates need — they are led by the subject teacher and are as structured as a regular class.
2025–26 results were lower than prior years. The school has reviewed its academic support systems. Full data with cohort context: Mandatory Disclosure →
