Since 2003, Our ABC Academy has prepared students from Tinsukia and the wider Upper Assam region for the demands of national board examinations and the deeper work of becoming citizens. Day and boarding, co-educational, Nursery through Class XII.
Our ABC Academy began with three letters — the simplest order, the first that any child learns — and the conviction that a serious school is built from simple things, repeated faithfully.
We teach to that conviction. Children arrive at three; they leave at eighteen. The fourteen years between are spent learning how to read carefully, work honestly, and disagree without contempt.
Our results on the CBSE boards are consistent. They are not the point. The point is the quiet, ordinary work — the educational visit to a working factory, the science exhibition in the auditorium, the morning assembly that does not fail.
Play-based, language-rich, and unhurried. We protect the slowness of early childhood, building phonemic awareness, number sense, and the everyday vocabulary of an English-medium classroom.
Structured subject teaching begins. Reading comprehension, written composition, and mathematical reasoning are deepened alongside an introduction to the sciences and the social world.
The intellectually formative years, culminating in the CBSE Class X board examination. Disciplinary writing, lab work, and habits of revision are built deliberately, in small, weekly increments.
A focused two-year programme towards the Class XII board and entrance exams beyond. Three streams, with disciplined coaching threaded through the regular timetable rather than displacing it.

Our ABC Academy, Tinsukia is the official host of the CBSE Far East Zone Cluster I Kho Kho Competition for the 2026–27 session. Participating schools from Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, and Sikkim will compete for the opportunity to qualify for the CBSE National Championship.
Single and twin rooms, staffed dorm parents, a structured study evening, and a kitchen run by the school. We accept boarders from Class V upward.
A working library, four science labs, two computer labs, a turfed playing field, and transport reaching every part of Tinsukia town.
A school is not measured by what happens on its best day, but by what happens on its ordinary ones — the assemblies that begin on time, the homework that is read, the child who feels seen.
Our task is unglamorous and complete: to teach English and Mathematics well, to insist on civility, and to send every child onward with something they did not arrive with.
